Support for Chicago Core Grantees on the COVID-19 Front Line

 

The John and Susan Dewan Foundation initiated a round of one-time emergency grants to a group of our local long-standing grant partners battling the pandemic.  These grants totaling $23,000 are assisting with immediate needs and extraordinary costs incurred due to COVID-19 such as food, cleaning supplies, safety gear, equipment and staffing.

 

Twelve organizations are receiving Dewan Foundation COVID-19 Emergency Grants.

Support for Trusted Grant Partners Working Overseas

​

The John and Susan Dewan Foundation extended emergency grant support in the amount of $4,000 total to trusted grant partners working overseas.  These grants address food insecurity and other needs resulting from economic disruption in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
