Proposal Review Process
The Foundation will
utilize the criteria below as a general
framework:
- Goals, Objectives and Usefulness of
the Project
: Will the
proposed project make a difference in the effectiveness, efficiency or
quality of operations in the applicant's agency? What is the potential
impact of the project in relation to the size of the funding request? Is
the project feasible? Does it compliment or duplicate other projects
funded or anticipated to be funded by the Foundation?
- Quality and Soundness
of
the Workplan: Is there a sensible, logical progression for specified
tasks that will achieve objectives? Is there evidence of best practices?
Is there a credible method to achieve objectives?
- Organizational Capacity
:
What is the professional training and experience of staff? Does the
proposing organization have the infrastructure necessary to carry out
the proposed project?
- Budget Justification
:
Are proposed costs necessary and reasonable?
